I never knew Amway made lipstick until I bought this from my local salon, where I happened to meet a Amway agent, and finally ended up buying this lipstick solely for its color.
Its a beautiful warm brown color which looks peachy brown on me, with orange undertones. The color looks very good when paired with smokey eyes and heavy kohl rimmed eyes. I plan to do a FOTD on this soon. It would look good across complexions and many of you might find your MLBB shade in this one. The texture is smooth and creamy, and the lipstick is so soft, that when applied that it tends to get rubbed off easily, does not bleed though. The lasting power is very low about two hours on me, Its gone with little eating or drinking. Also it tends to accentuate the cracks of the lips, so it is better to apply it on ex-foliated pout.
Above is the swatch, on cooler skin tones it might tend towards being a brown with pink undertones :). Its quite pigmented and covers lip pigmentation well, requires two swipe to go opaque.
The packaging is classy black and I find it nice, its sturdy enough and easy to carry.
Below I have posted the lip swatch, tends to accentuate the cracks and fine lines.
Price: I think Rs. 280, do not remember exactly 🙂 bought it about one and half years back.
Summary: Worth a buy solely for the color, Its unique color and I could not find any exact dupe :). But it fares very low on lasting ability and accentuates the cracks of the lips inspite of being moisturizing. Go for it only for the color :). Looks very good when paired with smokey/ kohl rimmed eyes and ideal for office wear also. Also , they are available with Amway representatives only and I saw them on ebay.com.
MAC Taupe and Colorbar’s “Creme Cup” could be a somewhat close.
Product Score: 3.5/5
