…………….deals with everything feminine, make up and beauty being an integral part

This range was launched by Lakme, quite a while ago on the Valentine’s Day 🙂 . This lipsticks are very much hydrating and moisturizing , have commendable quality too. But still, I feel these are over priced for what they offer.

The packaging : I love its packaging, very cute and full of love. The outer covering is a metallic red  with a “love”  inscribed on it and the inner tube is silver. Even the bullet has a love inscribed on it.

The Color: A brownish color with neutral undertones, which appears pink to orange depending on the skin tone. On me, it tends towards orange-brown and I have seen it seem pinkier on others. Irrespective of the undertones, this color would suit all skin tones. Also, it could be a  great MLBB shade for medium to dusky skin tones.

The pigmentation: It goes opaque in about two swipes to cover lip pigmentation. Could be applied sheerly even.

The first lip swatch is taken at night.

The texture: Its very soft and creamy, keeps the lips glossy and moisturized.

The Lasting ability: Lasts for about two – three hours, and fades off completely if one has food in between. That is the only ouch factor with it.

Price: INR 550

Summary: Very decent and classy color. Great shade for office wear and also to pair with black smokey eyes or any type of heavy eye makeup. Would suit a wide variety of skin tones. Definitely a must have shade.  The con is, that it is not long lasting. It would have been better if it lasted a few hours more, keeping in mind the price.

Product Score: 4/5
