Make-Up and Creating Looks is my passion and I feel privileged to do a look for Loreal Paris, India as a part of their Cannes Collection campaign. Neither I am a Red Carpet Diva 🙂 nor a much acclaimed Make-Up artist, still, I present this look and I hope I do justice to the look :).
This look can be worn to a parties both during the day and night 🙂
Loreal gelmatic liner and moist matte lipstick “spring rosette”
Eye Make-up : I have used the gelmatic liner all over my eye lid and then blended it with a blending blush. Then I tightlined my eyes with black kohl and finished off with mascara.
- Loreal Gelmatic Pen Super Liner in “glamor gold”
- Maybelline Colossal Kajal
- Loreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara
- Blending brush
Face Make-up: After priming my face with FaceIt Primer, I applied Maybelline BB Cream and then topped it with Mac Studio Fix Powder plus foundation . Then I used the Sleek Contour Palette to sculpt my face and applied NYX “mocha” blush on my cheeks.
On Lips I have Loreal Moist Matte Lipstick “Spring Rosette” which is a part of the Loreal Cannes Collection.

Following suit, I am also up with my version of the much acclaimed look donned by Aishwarya Rai in the Cannes Film Festival, 2014. Though her outfits were more or less, of the same genre, she did look fabulous enough to mute her critics. The look, which I tried to ape, is the one with green smoky eyes and red lips. Though such a combination is quite bold and is not endorsed much, she managed to pull off the look with elan and as long as, one looks good, I feel nothing can go wrong 🙂
Face: Maybelline BB cream with MAC studio fix powder on top. The blush, is NYX “mocha”. I have used the highlighter from Sleek Contour Palette on the bridge of my nose and the high of cheek bones.
Lips: Mixed Maybelline “pleasure me red” along with MAC “Viva Glam I” and applied with a lip brush.
Eyes: I used a metallic dark green eye shadow from Sleek “Bad-girl” palette and blended it with Coastal Scents “Kiwi green” eye shadow. On the crease and corners, I have a deep Grey- black eye shadow. I blended all of them together to achieve the look. I have used black kohl and mascara to complete the look.
I don’t claim the look to be an exact dupe of what she has worn. It is just a humble attempt 🙂 . Do drop in your comments , criticisms and suggestions are welcome 🙂
